Planning for 2020

I know its a few months away for the new season but already I have had teams concerned about registering for events already for next year.

Some of our events are limited to the size of the entry field, so think about where you want to race next year and get in early. Particularly the last race in the series and the last chance to possibly win points is the Bundaberg event with a max of 55 teams only. Already, 25 teams have booked places for this event. So if you want a spot held for your team contact gcsmi1@eq.edu.au. Teams registered for the Super Series will have priority over non registered teams.

Registrations for all events will open periodically throughout the year but some coordinators will accept early registrations by email.

Series registration will open on the 1st of February but if you would like to request a particular race number for your team now contact qldhpvsuperseries2020@gmail.com.

Have a great Christmas and thank you for supporting the 1st QLD HPV Super Series.

We will take entries any time in Mackay, just let me know if your coming up this way. We now have over 15 local teams so big thanks to the teams that travelled up this year, it really kicked interest along. One company sponsored 2 new schools with new trikes, shelters, uniforms etc and has asked us to have a design competition with the winner heading to SA to have their design made. That event happens with other events Wed after the big race. It’ll be on our website when we nail down the extra challenges to inspire STEM in education.

Congratulations to ALL the winners in the QLD HPV Super Series.

Thank you all for helping make this new racing series a major success. The final results for the series points are now posted on the web site. In many categories there were some very close competition between a few teams.

I would like to thank our Major sponsor for the Super Series this year, Grillex. Without your support we would not of been able to get this series off the ground.

In a few days the new race calender will be emailed to all school managers and then posted on the two web pages. The first major change is the first race is now a 16 hour Enduro in Toowoomba starting on the 2nd of May 2020. And the final race of the new season will be an 8 hour Twilight race in Bundaberg on the 24th of Oct.

Thanks again to everyone involved, rest up, repair your vehicles, and start your planning for the 2020 season which is going to be bigger and better with faster action and closer results than this year.
